How has the Platt Caddie Scholarship helped you achieve your goals and what has it meant to you?
The Platt Caddie Scholarship has allowed me to complete my undergraduate education, have the time to invest into extracurricular activities, and has encouraged me to pursue a professional career in medicine. Thanks to the scholarship, I was able to conclude my undergraduate career with little financial debt.
What would you say to a person you met at your club who was thinking about giving to the Platt Caddie Scholarship?
Thank you for your support of the Platt Caddie Scholarship. I’ve been a recipient of this scholarship for four years now and it has been such a blessing. With this, it has given me the encouragement to pursue medicine and work towards a meaningful career of serving people.
What is your fondest caddying memory to date?
My fondest moment caddying was giving a 30-foot read on the green to a "D" player and him nailing it in one shot during a tournament. I certainly do not have reading greens down to a science but being able to help one of my customers make that great of putt who does not normally do so made it such an awesome experience for both of us. |
